Prior to Champlain Capital
Partners, Mr. Menke was Founder and President of Menke
Equity Partners, a firm dedicated to sourcing, structuring
and financing middle-market buyout transactions. Prior
to forming Menke Equity Partners, Inc. in 1998, Mr.
Menke was an officer and board member of MBR Capital
Corp., Inc., which was one of the General Partners of
MBR Investment Associates, LP, a leveraged buyout fund.
In that role, Mr. Menke was responsible for sourcing,
structuring and consummating acquisitions on behalf
of the partnership. Prior to that, Mr. Menke served
with the investment banking firm of Kidder, Peabody
& Company. There he was an advisor to senior management
of companies regarding considerations related to ESOP
buyouts, and specialized in designing certain tax related
strategies for his clients. Mr. Menke received his B.A.,
cum laude, from the University of Southern California,
and his M.B.A. from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management
at Northwestern University.
