Mr. Feldberg joined Champlain Capital at its founding in 2002. Prior to that point, he had an extensive career in both retailing and distribution. Mr. Feldberg was President and CEO of US Office Products, recruited by Clayton Dubillier & Rice in 1999 to turnaround their troubled investment. Prior to that, he served post-bankruptcy as Chairman and CEO of Caldor, a publically-traded regional discount retailer. Mr. Feldberg was President and CEO of Marshalls, a national off-price retailer owned by the Melville Corporation. From 1984 to 1991, Mr. Feldberg served as Executive Vice President and then President of Target Stores and Executive Vice President of Lechmere, both divisions of the Dayton Hudson Corporation. Mr. Feldberg began his professional career at Bloomingdales in New York City where he rose to Merchandising Vice President. Mr. Feldberg received his M.B.A. from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and his B.A. with Honors from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
